Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong data visualization skills using Power BI or Tableau to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for identifying business insights from data and be capable of working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for dashboards and reports
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI / Tableau dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations
• Analyze large datasets to derive insights that support business decisions
• Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across sources
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data readiness
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
• Support UAT testing and user training

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to data-driven projects
• Hands-on expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau – development, publishing, and optimization
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data validation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience in domains such as BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare is an added advantage
• Certification in Power BI or Tableau is a plus

Work Mode:

• Chennai-based role (hybrid or onsite, based on project/client requirement)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,365,460.73 - ₹2,439,812.95 per year
