Oracle Database Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Developer with deep expertise in Oracle 19c, PL/SQL development, and Oracle Exadata platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in database development, advanced performance tuning, and leveraging Exadata’s unique capabilities to optimize database performance and scalability. Experience with Control-M, Shell scripting, and Python scripting for automation and operational efficiency will be highly valued. Your tasks Designing, developing, and optimizing complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle 19c environments Performing advanced database performance tuning and optimization, including SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning, and utilizing Exadata-specific features (Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, etc.) Managing and optimizing Oracle Exadata systems for high availability, scalability, and peak performance Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to fully leverage the Exadata hardware and software stack Developing automation scripts using Shell and Python to support database administration, monitoring, and batch processing Scheduling and managing batch jobs using Control-M Supporting database deployments, upgrades, and migrations on Exadata platforms Troubleshooting complex database performance and availability issues Creating and maintaining detailed documentation on database designs, tuning strategies, and automation processes Implementing best practices for backup, recovery, and security on Exadata systems Requirements Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c and PL/SQL development Strong expertise in Oracle Exadata architecture, features, and best practices Proven skills in performance tuning and optimization on Exadata platforms Experience with Control-M scheduling and job management Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python scripting for automation and database operations Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or relevant Exadata certification preferred Nice to have Experience with cloud databases, hybrid architectures, and automation/orchestration tools Job no. 250605-B8O29 Benefits For You Diverse portfolio of clients Wide portfolio of technologies Employment stability Remote work opportunities Contracts with the biggest brands Great Place to Work Europe Many experts you can learn from Open and accessible management team Show more Show less
