Job Description

Role Overview: As an Ops Support Specialist 5, you will be responsible for providing operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Your role will involve acting as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. Your main objective will be to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi's operations support infrastructure and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily reconciliation of multiple portfolios based on the knowledge of accounting treatment of entries - Support a small Operation Support team and recommend new work procedures to streamline operations - Research & investigate open reconciliation items, identify risks, and analyze data - Perform daily matching for all reconciliations in Recon Frontier by certain criteria and coordinate with multiple teams on open exception items - Prepare and post journal entries based on open items/exceptions - Resolve customer inquiries, supervise escalated issues, and provide efficient customer service to Citi's clients - Communicate daily with management on productivity, quality, availability, Management Information System (MIS) indicators, and provide written and oral communications to supported business areas - Facilitate training for staff within the department and assist in answering staff questions within Disputes - Assist with ongoing Lean and process improvement projects - Resolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating as needed - Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets Qualifications: - Previous relevant experience preferred - Proficient in Microsoft Office - General knowledge of client reporting across the industry and our competitors - Proven organization and time management skills - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Additional Company Details: This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed. Shift Timing: - Candidate should be willing to work in 24*7 shifts including late-night shift start timings - Should be flexible for any shift timing (rotation shifts, permanent night shifts, and late-night shifts) - Weekend working may be BAU as per business requirement,
