About the Role

Institutional Giving

Key Responsibilities

1. Donor Partner Acquisition & Funding Collaborations

• Identify, engage, and acquire new institutional donors (CSR, Foundations, Multilateral agencies domestic & international).
  
• Manage the funding pipeline, conversions, and partnership renewals.
  
• Build sustainable, long-term relationships with key funding partners.

2. Proposal Development & Closures

• End-to-end management of donor proposals including concept notes, pitches, presentations, and RFP submissions.
  
• Identify synergies between organizational programs and donor priorities.
  
• Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of funding opportunities.
  

3. Strategic & Stakeholder Management

• Support leadership with data-driven insights on market opportunities, sectoral trends, and project allocations.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams (Program Heads, Functional Teams, Leadership) and external stakeholders (donor partners, agencies).
  
• Participate in field visits with teams and donor representatives as needed.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate / MBA / MSW (preferred).
  

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience

  (up to ~12 years total work experience).
• Prior experience in

  Institutional Fundraising, CSR, Philanthropy, Client Relationship Management

  , or

  Sales (HNI/BFSI/Wealth Management/Private Banking)

  preferred.
• Exposure to

  Social Development / Non-Profit Sector

  will be an advantage.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  
• Target-driven, result-oriented, and proactive in approach.
  
• Confident networker who thrives in social and professional engagements.
  
• Willingness to travel and stay in rural project locations periodically.
