Job Description

Conduct
internal audits
of corporate offices and Solar EPC project sites as per the annual audit plan.
Review and evaluate
internal controls, SOPs, and compliance frameworks
across functions such as Procurement, Stores, Projects, Finance, and Contracts.
Perform
process audits
for EPC activities including project execution, billing, subcontracting, and material management.
Verify
project costs, BOQ adherence, budget vs actuals
, and cost controls at site level.
Review
vendor and subcontractor payments
, certifications, and supporting documentation.
Audit
billing, revenue recognition, and collection processes
for EPC contracts.
Check compliance with
statutory, contractual, and lender requirements
.
Identify
control gaps, process inefficiencies, and risk areas
, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare
internal audit reports
, present findings to management, and track closure of audit observations.
Coordinate with
statutory auditors, internal stakeholders, and process owners
for audit requirements.
Conduct
follow-up audits
to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Support
fraud risk assessment and preventive control mechanisms
.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of
internal audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control frameworks
.
Knowledge of
Solar EPC / Infrastructure / Power sector processes
preferred.
Good exposure to
project accounting, procurement audits, and contract management
.
Ability to analyze data, identify exceptions, and provide actionable insights.
Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in
Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other)
and MIS reporting.
