Operations - Junior

Job Summary:

Combat Fitness Cult is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Junior to oversee and coordinate daily operations across our 5 fitness centres in Ernakulam. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient functioning, high service quality, staff management, and business growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills, with the ability to travel between centres as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Branch Oversight:
• Supervise daily operations.
• Monitor and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of each centre.
• Team Management:
• Lead, train, and manage centre managers, front desk staff, trainers, and support staff.
• Schedule staff shifts and ensure proper staffing at all locations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
• Customer Experience:
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and address escalated concerns.
• Implement feedback systems to improve member services and retention.
• Sales & Revenue:
• Monitor monthly sales and membership targets for each centre.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive member acquisition and retention.
• Analyze KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Maintenance & Inventory:
• Oversee purchase, repair, and maintenance of gym equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage vendor relations and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
• Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure all branches comply with local laws, health, and safety regulations.
• Submit timely reports on operational metrics, challenges, and opportunities.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and multi-location operations management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and fitness software tools
• Basic knowledge of gym equipment maintenance is a plus

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• Minimum 0–1 years of experience in operations management, preferably in fitness, wellness, or hospitality sectors
• Prior experience managing multiple locations is highly desirable
• Ability to travel frequently between branches
