As an Operations and Administration Manager at our college, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of college operations to support the academic mission of the institution. Your academic background, ideally transitioning from a professorial or teaching role, will be valuable in leading administrative initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including facilities, staff management, office administration, and compliance to maintain efficient college functioning. - Manage infrastructure, maintenance, IT support, and other operational functions to provide necessary support. - Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services and efficient operations. - Supervise non-teaching staff by handling hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management effectively. - Act as a bridge between management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration. - Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and documentation for internal and external reviews to maintain transparency and accountability. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Experience as a faculty member/professor in a higher education institution with a deep understanding of academic frameworks. - Demonstrated track record in administration or operations roles within an educational setting to ensure effective management. - Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate effectively. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external agencies to foster partnerships. - Familiarity with institutional compliance requirements and accreditation standards to ensure adherence.
