Operation Manager

You are a dynamic Operations Manager responsible for leading the operations of a premium standalone bar & restaurant group in Guwahati, ensuring exceptional hospitality, high food & beverage standards, and a vibrant guest experience. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments (FOH & BOH). - Maintaining high service standards, hygiene, quality, and compliance with company policies. - Supervising, guiding, and training staff including captains, stewards, bartenders, chefs, and housekeeping. - Managing inventory, procurement, vendor coordination, and cost control. - Monitoring financial performance, preparing budgets, and achieving sales & profitability targets. - Handling guest relations, resolving complaints, and ensuring a memorable guest experience. - Ensuring adherence to statutory compliance (FSSAI, Excise, Labour Laws, etc.). - Coordinating with HR for hiring, training, and staff performance evaluation. - Planning and executing events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to increase footfall. - Reporting directly to the management and implementing strategic directions. Your key result areas include: - Customer Experience: Consistently high guest satisfaction ratings & positive feedback. - Revenue Growth: Achieving monthly & annual sales targets. - Operational Efficiency: Reduction in wastage, optimum manpower utilization, and smooth workflow. - Cost Management: Maintaining food & beverage cost and other operational costs within budget. - Team Development: High staff retention, training effectiveness, and improved team productivity. - Compliance: 100% adherence to hygiene, safety, and statutory regulations. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduate in Hotel/Restaurant Management or relevant field. - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a reputed restaurant/bar/hotel. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Hands-on knowledge of restaurant software (POS, inventory, billing). - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
