Operation Executive

Job Title: Executive – Operations Department: Operations – Port & CFS Location: Mundra Reporting To: Manager – Operations Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Executive to manage and streamline day-to-day warehousing and port-side logistics operations at our Mundra facility. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, team management skills, and experience in handling customer expectations within a dynamic, tech-enabled environment. Roles & ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementOversee end-to-end warehouse operations: Inward, Sorting, Picking, Outbound, and Inventory Ensure timely unloading of vehicles and proper acknowledgment via email Plan and deploy manpower efficiently in accordance with volume fluctuations Independently manage 150+ workforce while fostering effective team collaboration Implement and monitor loss prevention controls Analyze and report operational misses and productivity metrics Maintain warehouse hygiene and ensure safety compliance for employees and premises Address customer queries in a timely and professional manner Ensure timely escalations for non-compliances and shipment discrepancies Execute layout-wise manpower planning to enhance operational efficiency Drive continuous improvements for enhanced site productivity Regional P&L ManagementEnsure zero debits from customers Prevent productivity losses to maintain profitability Maintain P&L in line with budget expectations Customer Relationship ManagementProvide timely support to customers as per business needs Ensure accurate reporting and quick resolution of client issues Handle customer escalations with coordination from the Warehouse Manager Proactively act to reduce complaint rates and ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications & CompetenciesMinimum 4 years of experience, preferably across 2-3 relevant industries Strong exposure to DC (Distribution Center) Operations Proficiency in SAP, WMS, and other tech-based operational systems Graduate or Postgraduate in Operations / Supply Chain Management from a recognized university Ability to work in a fast-paced, IT-enabled environment
