Job Description

Position: OpenShift Specialist / Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Delhi/NCR, India

Immediate Joiner are preferred.

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Specialist with strong hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of deployment and post-deployment activities, along with proven expertise in integrating various storage backends with OpenShift in enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement OpenShift cluster deployments (UPI/IPI).
  • Execute post-deployment tasks, including operator configurations, monitoring setup, ingress/egress, and cluster fine-tuning.
  • Integrate different storage solutions (e.g., ODF, Ceph, NFS, SAN/NAS, CSI drivers) into OpenShift environments.
  • Perform cluster upgrades, patching, scaling, and high-availability configurations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking, security, and authentication (OAuth/LDAP/AD).
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or EFK stack.
  • Provide cluster health checks, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth delivery in a Delhi/NCR-based client environment.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with 3+ years in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Expertise in storage integration with OpenShift (block, file, object storage).
  • Hands-on with Operators, Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Proficient in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid OpenShift deployments.
  • Experience with container security, RBAC, and compliance controls.


Preferred Qualification:

  • B.Tech/ B.E
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform for cluster lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to disaster recovery strategies and multi-site OpenShift setups.


Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a client-facing, on-site Delhi/NCR environment.
