Position Summary:

The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient scheduling, dispatch,

and tracking of service activities. This position supports the service team by coordinating

work orders, managing customer communication, and ensuring timely and effective service

delivery. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-

paced environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatcher, or administrative role

(experience in the security or low-voltage industry is a plus).

  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with service management

or CRM software (e.g., ServiceTitan, simPRO, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work under pressure.

  • Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm

systems) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests,

updates, and resolutions.

  • Schedule and dispatch field technicians based on service priorities, technician skill

sets, and geographic location.

  • Open, track, and close service tickets/work orders in the companys service

management software.

  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure service calls are completed efficiently and meet

customer expectations.

  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

  • Maintain and update customer records, service contracts, and equipment inventory in

the system.

  • Monitor service metrics (e.g., response time, completion time, customer satisfaction)

and report on service performance.

  • Support billing processes by ensuring all service-related documentation is accurate

and complete.

  • Assist in procurement of parts and materials needed for service jobs.

  • Work closely with other departments (sales, project management, technical support)

to ensure seamless customer service.
