Procurement Specialist

Designation: Procurement Specialist

Work Location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Bengaluru

Experience - Minimum 2+ Years Required)

Must-Haves: Procurement role

1. Experience in Spare Parts Procurement

• Strong background in sourcing automobile spare parts for passenger cars.

2. Vendor Management Skills

• Proven ability to identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers efficiently.

3. Negotiation Skills

• Excellent at negotiating prices, payment terms, and lead times with vendors.

4. Inventory Knowledge

• Understanding of inventory turnover, stock replenishment cycles, and demand planning.

5. Technical Know-How

• Basic understanding of spare parts fitment, categorization (OE, OES, IAM), and quality levels.

6. Data-Driven Approach

• Comfortable using Excel, ERP tools, and procurement dashboards to track and improve performance.

7. Cost Optimization Mindset

• Ability to identify and act on cost reduction opportunities through alternate sourcing or bulk procurement.

8. Market Intelligence

• Stay up-to-date with market rates, competitor sourcing strategies, and availability of new vendors.

9. Geographic Exposure

• Experience in handling suppliers across different regions (preferably PAN India).

10. Planning and Coordination

• Strong organizational skills to align with store teams, warehouse, finance, and logistics.
