O&M Technician

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and responsible O&M Technician to join our solar operations and maintenance (O&M) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of solar power plants through routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system performance analysis. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar power plants as per schedule. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in modules, inverters, junction boxes, and electrical panels. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of the plant. Monitor system performance, record daily generation data, and report deviations. Perform string testing, IV curve tracing, and insulation resistance tests when required. Ensure timely replacement of faulty components and update service logs. Coordinate with the O&M Engineer for escalation and resolution of major faults. Maintain inventory of tools, spares, and consumables at the site. Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE usage during site operations. Support the commissioning and performance verification of newly installed plants. Qualifications & Skills Required:Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Electronics (preferred). 1–2 years of relevant experience in solar O&M or electrical maintenance. Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical safety. Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and equipment manuals. Hands-on experience with multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic tools. Willingness to travel for site work across India. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
