Job Description

As an Officer / Executive in the Engineering Department at the Indore Plant, your responsibilities will include handling various functions such as Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, HVAC, Utilities, Engineering Stores, Control Systems, Documentation, and Equipment Qualification/Validation in a regulated Pharmaceutical / API / Chemical industry. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical panels, drives, and control systems (PLC/SCADA). - Calibration and validation of instruments and sensors to ensure accuracy. - Ensuring power supply reliability and effective energy management. - Compliance with electrical safety standards and audit requirements. For Mechanical Process Maintenance: - Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment. - Conducting root cause analysis and CAPA for equipment failures. - Planning spare parts and coordinating with the engineering store. - Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. In the HVAC / Utilities domain: - Operating and maintaining HVAC systems, AHUs, chillers, and BMS. - Managing utility equipment such as boilers, air compressors, DG sets, and water systems. - Monitoring and maintaining system performance parameters and records. - Providing support during HVAC qualification and requalification processes. Within the Engineering Store: - Managing inventory of engineering spares and consumables. - Coordinating with purchase and vendors for material availability. - Maintaining GRN, issue slips, conducting stock audits, and tracking reorder levels. - Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems is preferred for efficient operations. For GEP / Validation / Documentation responsibilities: - Preparing qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new equipment. - Documenting preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and validation activities. - Handling equipment life cycle documents and change control processes. - Providing support in audits and compliance documentation. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering or a relevant field. - 2-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry, with expertise in any of the mentioned areas. - Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and Engineering compliance practices. - Familiarity with SAP / ERP and MS Office. Desired Skills: - Strong technical knowledge. - Analytical skills. - Proactive problem-solving abilities. - Good documentation practices. - Effective communication. - Team coordination skills. You should be willing to work in shifts and collaborate in cross-functional teams. This is a full-time position with a General / Rotational shift based on the role, and the CTC will be as per company standards and candidate experience.,
