Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Business - Tactical implementation of sales strategy across Pan India, revenue growth / assuring Business continuity / increasing Lapp market share across VAS Business Model.

  • Sales Revenue - top line, Gross Margin & DSO monitoring as per budget.

  • Market Segmentation - Focus on key market segments in to generate both breadth & depth of customers.

  • Plan a robust channel partner strategy for OEM and Automation sales as per Strategy

  • Coordination Shall drive Key Account Management & account penetration to increase generate cross selling index.

  • Cash Flow - Is responsible for efficient cash flow, collection review, and concessional forms and negotiate T&C for large businesses. Review analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.

  • Systems & Processes - Develop and improve systems in business to service contracts with customer service.

  • Patch cords sales - Develop & implement strategy with business development for increasing Harness Solutions business in OEM and Automation segment, sales reach out to more customers from existing & new accounts.

  • Dealers - Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business along with all customers.

  • Represent Lapp India at various technical association meetings and promote our Brands.

  • Be an expert on LAPP technology from a technical and functional perspective, including the ability to effectively position and present its characteristics and benefits to Lapp sales in OEM, Automation and Transport segments.

  • Provide mentorship and management oversight to the Pan India sales team members to help them drive sales strategy and goal achievement.

  • Plan and direct sales activities including implementing forecasts, execution, marketing program development, relationship development, partner satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will oversee the Value Added Services (VAS) business model across Pan India, managing a team of approximately 40-45 members, including Business Leaders, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and Team Leaders

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in the field of Electrical / Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering. Degree in management would be a plus.

  • Minimum of 18+ years of specific experience in sales and business development in electrical / cable industry with experience in leading large number of OEM / Automation Customers.

  • Good product & application knowledge with component / solution selling experience involving electrical products like Switchgears, T&D products, Cables & accessories & very good Infra segment / industry knowledge.

  • Strong track record for channel partners management & strategic thinking to grow the channel network as per sales growth plan of Lapp India.

  • Successful previous experience in managing the sales team in multiple location with consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to execution.

  • Should have geographical knowledge of Pan India.
