Job Description

As an Ocean Import Customer Coordinator at our dynamic team in Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships in the logistics and freight industry, ensuring seamless operations for ocean import shipments. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and coordinating ocean import shipments from start to finish. - Acting as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Preparing and processing necessary documentation for customs clearance. - Monitoring shipment schedules and providing timely updates to customers on shipment status. - Collaborating with internal teams and external partners such as carriers, customs agents, and warehouse staff. - Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining accurate records. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. - Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff members. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in ocean import logistics or a related field. - Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong understanding of import regulations and customs procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.,
