Role Overview: As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, the Customers & Products (C&P) business area is establishing a business and technology center (BTC) in Pune, India. The BTC aims to enhance customer experience, foster innovation, and develop global capabilities at scale. Joining the Business Technology Centre Supply Chain team will involve driving New Product Introduction (NPI) and Network Optimization activities, contributing to the evolution of the global supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a key liaison for cross-functional alignment on NPI, collaborating with Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams, Marketing, Technology, and regional teams for cohesive business strategies. - Work closely with demand planners and supply and production planners to ensure accurate Product Lifecycle plans, efficient phase-in and phase-out planning, and effective communication of future supply changes. - Support supply chain assessment and capability for tenders and regional NPI projects, collaborating with marketing and supply chain for portfolio reviews. - Manage NPI projects and other product change activities for the relevant regional team, aligning with NPI resources and supporting feasibility studies and commercial opportunities assessment. - Implement best practices in Product Lifecycle Management across regional teams and drive end-to-end supply chain network optimization to identify improvement opportunities. - Evaluate sourcing options, lead make/buy decisions, support new product sourcing, and oversee product flow across the network. - Collaborate with global NPI and Net Ops teams to strike a balance between tactical and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Required: - University bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Minimum 12 years of experience in professional supply chain roles, preferably in a large, global organization. - In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, ability to interpret and model complex data sets in network models, experience with network optimization software is advantageous. - Proficiency in new product launch planning, Product Life Cycle Management, and S&OP process. - Strong project management and PMO skills, demonstrated success in delivering significant projects on time and within budget. - Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to influence diverse stakeholders, including senior management, collaborators, and peers. - Previous experience with network optimization systems is preferred.
