NPD Manager

You are a dynamic and experienced NPD Manager with a solid background in plastic injection moulding. Your role will involve leading the complete product development cycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market requirements, quality standards, and production feasibility. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire new product development process for plastic household items. Collaboration with various teams such as R&D, design, mould making, and production will be crucial to materialize innovative ideas. Your expertise will be utilized to evaluate product designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and tooling feasibility. Additionally, you will closely monitor and manage mould development activities with internal teams and external vendors. Collaboration with marketing and sales teams will be essential to grasp customer needs and market trends. Developing project timelines and ensuring timely execution of product launches will be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, conducting testing, validation, and improvement iterations based on feedback and trials will be crucial. Detailed documentation for each project including Bill of Materials (BOM), specifications, and project reports will be maintained. Monitoring cost, quality, and delivery of new products will also fall under your purview. Driving continuous improvement in existing products and processes will be a key aspect of your role. To qualify for this role, you must possess a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in NPD or product engineering in the injection moulding industry. A strong understanding of plastic materials, injection moulding machines, and tooling (moulds) is essential. Experience in household plastic product design and development is highly preferred. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required. This is a full-time position with day shift and fixed shift schedules. A yearly bonus will be provided. Proficiency in English is preferred, and the work location is in person.,
