About The Opportunity

We are a technology firm operating in the Analytics and Enterprise Software sector, building data-driven products and SaaS platforms for B2B customers. Our engineering teams deliver backend systems that power scalable web services, integrations, and real-time data pipelines.We are hiring an on-site Node.js Developer in India to join a cross-functional engineering team focused on building robust backend services, API-first platforms, and high-quality production systems.Role & Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support web and mobile applications.
Design and implement RESTful APIs, data models, and integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
Write reliable, performant code with automated unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
Optimize application performance, implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis), and tune database queries and indexes.
Diagnose and resolve production issues, monitor system health, and implement logging and observability best practices.
Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features on schedule in an on-site engineering environment.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven backend development experience with Node.js
Strong JavaScript knowledge (ES6+)
Hands-on experience with Express.js
Designing and building RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of MongoDB (or comparable NoSQL databases)
Experience with version control using Git and familiarity with CI/CD workflows

Preferred

TypeScript
Containerization with Docker
AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS) or exposure to cloud-native deployment
