Overview The WordPress Developer plays a critical role in our organization by designing, implementing, and maintaining websites and applications using the WordPress platform. This position is crucial for establishing a strong online presence, engaging users, and promoting brand awareness. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of website functionality and design principles to create user-friendly experiences that meet clients' needs.. The WordPress Developer should demonstrate problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for web development. Experience Required : 1-3 Yrs Mode of Work - WFO + Flexi time Design and develop WordPress websites that align with customer objectives. Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications. Ensure responsive design for optimal viewing across devices. Conduct website performance and security testing. Collaborate with designers to create aesthetically appealing sites. Integrate third-party services and APIs for enhanced functionality. Optimize website SEO to improve search engine rankings. Manage updates for WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality. Set up and manage websites in hosting environments. Create and maintain documentation for website implementation and maintenance. Train end-users on using WordPress and website management tools. Stay informed about current best practices and emerging technologies in web development. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Implement tracking and reporting tools for performance analytics. Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field. Proven experience in WordPress development and website design. Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with popular plugins like WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, etc. Understanding of server management and database systems. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with eCommerce integrations and online payment systems is a plus. Familiarity with mobile-first design is beneficial. Knowledge of website security best practices.
