Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Packaging Manager to lead the development of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective packaging solutions for new products. This role is pivotal in bridging design, engineering, marketing, and supply chain to deliver packaging that enhances product appeal, protects integrity, and aligns with brand values.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development

Lead packaging development from concept to commercialization for all new product launches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing) to define packaging requirements
Translate product briefs into packaging strategies that meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory needs

Innovation & Design

Drive innovation in materials, formats, and technologies to improve sustainability, user experience, and shelf impact
Evaluate and implement emerging packaging trends and technologies
Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new packaging designs

Project Management

Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for packaging development projects
Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
Maintain documentation and specifications for all packaging components

Quality & Compliance

Ensure packaging meets all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards
Conduct risk assessments and quality checks during development and production phases
Support audits and certifications related to packaging processes

Sustainability & Cost Optimization

Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact through material selection and design
Optimize packaging for logistics, storage, and cost efficiency without compromising quality
