Network Support Engineer

Role Summary

You will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the seamless operation of network infrastructure for our clients. This role involves first-line troubleshooting, hardware configuration, and real-time monitoring of ISP and enterprise-grade networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Support:

   Diagnose and resolve L1/L2 network incidents, including connectivity issues and hardware glitches.

• Infrastructure Management:

   Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Arista, etc.).

• Network Monitoring: Use monitoring tools (NMS, Zabbix, or LibreNMS) to track performance, analyse

  alarms, and ensure SLA compliance.

• ISP Operations:

   Support FTTH/GPON infrastructure, including OLT/ONT configurations and customer provisioning.

• Documentation:

   Maintain accurate logs, network diagrams, and shift reports for all technical fixes and investigations.

• Collaboration:

   Work closely with L3 engineers and field teams to escalate complex issues and implement network upgrades.

• Joining

  : Immediate joiners within Kerala are preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

   Bachelor’s Degree in BE, ECE, BCA, or a Diploma in Computer Science/IT.

• Experience:

   1–3 years in network support or a similar role; knowledge of ISP/telecom environments is a significant plus.

• Technical Knowledge:

   Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing (OSPF/BGP basics), and switching.

• Certifications:

   CCNA or Network+ certifications are highly preferred.

• Soft Skills:

   Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a "client-first" commitment.

• Availability:

   Willingness to work in shifts and support 24/7 operational requirements if necessary.
