Job Description

Key Responsibilities: SD-WAN Implementation and Management: Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance, improve security, and reduce costs. Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, including next-generation firewalls (NGFWs). Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewall rules, access controls, and VPNs. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues, including SD-WAN-related problems, to ensure business continuity. Monitoring: Monitor network performance, security events, and SD-WAN health to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including security and IT operations, to implement and maintain network infrastructure. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting procedures. Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including investigating security breaches and implementing remediation measures. Required Skills and Experience: Firewall Expertise: Experience with various firewall technologies, including Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point, etc. SD-WAN Expertise: Experience with SD-WAN technologies, including Fortinet, Versa, HP/Aruba, Cisco SD-WAN, Viptela, or other solutions. Routing and Switching: Strong understanding of routing and switching principles, including BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols. Network Security: Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and web security. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting configurations, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCSP, or industry-specific SD-WAN certifications, are often preferred. Optional Skills: Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, for automating network tasks. Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. SASE: Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) concepts and technologies.
