Job Summary

Network Security Architect

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve firewall requests in line with risk appetiteReview and analyse firewall rules to ensure they are effective and in line with security best practicesEnsure all firewall rules are recertified by owners in the specified timeframe Where no owner is made available ensure an owner is found and that necessary information is updatedPerform firewall ruleset reviewValidate the rule compliance report of the firewalls generated from the automated firewall review solution and share with the respective stakeholdersPerform ACL ruleset management add update remove optimize to remove defunct duplicate rulesFollow the change management process for creationmodificationremoval of rules with necessary approvalsClearly document all changes to firewall rules including the reason for the change the details of the change the requestor and the date and time of the changePeriodically reviewing existing firewall rules to ensure they are still necessary and appropriate Remove outdated or redundant rulesRegularly assess rule effectiveness Adjust rules based on issues identified

Experience Qualifications

Should have 16 to 20 years of experience in setup configuration and ongoing management of firewall devices like Palo Alto F5 Zscaler Cisco ISE Azure DDoSStrong in Network Architecture and has to design and develop the architecture frameworkShould have experience in preparing HLD and LLD documentsShould have experience in managing endtoend deliveryShould have excellent communication skillsStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teamsGood to have CISSP Certified Ethical Hacker CEH CISM certifications
