Designation: Network Engineer

Location: Gurugram

Requirements :

· Minimum 3 years of experience

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Level 2 support.

· In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

· Hands-on experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance, identify issues, and take corrective actions to ensure network reliability and performance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and hardware/software faults.

Configuration and Setup: Assist in the configuration and setup of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, configuration files, and incident logs.

Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users regarding network-related issues and queries.

Security: Assist in implementing network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to safeguard network integrity.

Maintenance: Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system health checks.

Collaboration: Work closely with senior network engineers and other IT staff to plan and execute network upgrades and projects.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent.

Experience: 3-6 years of experience in network support or a related role.

Certifications: CCNA preferred.

Skills:

Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls & SDWAN)

Basic understanding of network security principles

Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
