Must-Have Skills:

• F5 WAF (ASM/Advanced WAF)
• OWASP Top 10
• Web Application Security
• WAF Policy Management
• Incident Response & Log Analysis
• Network Security

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any IT discipline or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience

  in Network Security / WAF Administration
• Hands-on experience with

  F5 WAF policy creation, tuning, and management

• Strong understanding of

  OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities

• Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents

Preferred Qualifications:

• F5 Certification:

  F5-301 / F5-303 / equivalent OEM professional certification

• Experience with

  Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)

  and Data Center environments
• Experience designing and implementing

  SDN and large-scale complex networks

• Hands-on with protocols/technologies such as:
• BGP
• OSPF
• MP-BGP EVPN
• VXLAN
• vPC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage

  F5 WAF policies

  to protect applications from OWASP Top 10 threats
• Create and fine-tune

  web application profiles

  to reduce false positives/negatives
• Monitor WAF logs and security events; investigate and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities
• Perform

  WAF configuration management

  , version control, and backup/recovery
• Optimize WAF performance to ensure high availability and minimal latency
• Generate compliance and security reports (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.)
• Perform

  F5 WAF upgrades, patches, and maintenance

• Stay updated with F5 best practices, new features, and security trends
• Share knowledge and best practices across teams
