Network Engineer L2

Location: Noida

Candidate must be a CCNA or CCNP Global Certified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide

  L2 support

  for enterprise network environments, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Handle

  escalated incidents

  , conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain

  Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls

  .
• Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using NMS tools.
• Perform network upgrades, patching, IOS updates, and configuration backups.
• Implement and enforce network security standards, ACLs, and best practices.
• Collaborate with L1, L3, security, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations.
• Document network topology, configurations, SOPs, and change records.
• Participate in

  on-call rotation

  and support critical incidents outside business hours when necessary.
• Assist in planning and executing network improvement and optimization projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Mandatory:

  Global

  CCNA or CCNP certification

• 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of: Routing protocols:

  BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

  Switching technologies:

  VLANs, STP, EtherChannel

  Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Firepower, or equivalent) VPN technologies:

  IPSec, SSL VPN

  Wireless technologies and controllers (preferred)
