Initial period of Contract : 6 Months (to be extended indefinitely in blocks of 6 m) T ech Stack Primary - Cisco R&S Secondary -IP Services - Firewall (PA & Fortinet) Other BlueCoat Proxy and Infoblox - DNS Job Description: Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: Supports the technology lifecycle through the design, build and maintenance of systems, software and applications to ensure the highest quality outcomes across the domains Makes technical design and amendment decisions and independently manages the workload Translates business requirements into technical requirements and infrastructure and network capacity needs by efficiently sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analyses Ensures relevant reporting documentation is completed and follows internal and external standards Schedules and coordinates capacity / network upgrades, liaising with other areas of the business as needed to ensure service level objectives are met Manages upgrades and coordinates internal and third parties where required Creates accurate documentation and monitors system performance to effectively contribute to business and continual improvement activities Supports in deploying emergent engineering patterns across development teams. Coordinates design work in the infrastructure and network domain and contributes to crafting solutions. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent in an IT related field Previous experience in Architecture / Engineering Significant experience in technology based roles.
