Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot
Layer 2 switching
(VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, port security, trunking, etc.).
Configure and support
Cisco WLC
including access point onboarding, WLAN configuration, RF optimization, and wireless security.
Administer and troubleshoot
FortiGate Firewalls
(policies, NAT, routing, VPN, HA setup, user authentication).
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement network changes as per project requirements following change management processes.
Work on network security best practices to safeguard infrastructure.
Troubleshoot network outages, identify root causes, and provide timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery and escalated issues.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and change logs.
Support routing protocols (OSPF, BGP preferred) and provide L2/L3 troubleshooting as needed.
