Network Engineer L2

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner Male Candidate

• Certified CCNA or Higher
• Good Communication skills
• In-Depth technical knowledge in Switching, Routing, WAN Acceleration, Load Balancers, Wireless technologies
• Hand-on experience in Network security like Firewall, Proxy and Wireless security
• Good Vendor and Peer Management skills

• Diploma with 8-10 years of IT experience with minimum 6-8 years hands-on experience in Network Technologies 3-5 years experience

• Graduation with 6-8 years of IT experience with minimum 4-6 years hands-on experience in Network Technologies
• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading a team

• Proactively monitor Network Link and Devices performance based on Utilization and Availability using Monitoring tool
• Act upon pre-configured threshold breach with respect to Utilization and Availability of network components and remediate

• Ensure 100% Network uptime for end users Not applicable with L2 Network Engineer

• Execute periodic maintenance activity to minimize Network downtime
• Identify, Plan required Changes to network infrastructure to enhance Network performance / security posture through Change Management process
• Oversee Network Infra Inventory and configuration as per standards
• Be second level of support, serving as escalation points for issues that L1 engineers cannot solve
• Delve deeper into network problems and perform root cause analysis
• Network Device Asset Management (Asset Inventory, Support Contract, Vendor Escalation Matrix)
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and Preform Configuration backups of Critical network devices

• Execute Network DR testing and per defined DR Policy - Not applicable with L2 Network Engineer

• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutions
• Ensure Scheduled reports are generated from Monitoring tool.
