Good Communication skills Minimum 1+ years Proven hands-on experiences as Network engineer in an enterprise network infrastructure Technical knowledge in Switching, Routing and Security of network Vendor, Peer Management skills University Degree Monitor Network Link and Devices performance based on Utilization and Availability using Monitoring tool Act upon pre-configured threshold breach with respect to Utilization and Availability of network components and remediate Ensure 100% Network support for end users Execute periodic Maintained activity to minimize Network downtime Plan required Changes to network infrastructure to enhance Network performance / security posture through Change Management process Adhere to Incident Management process Maintain Network Infra Inventory and configuration as per standards Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues raised by end users. Coordinate with Vendors, ISP, OEMs in resolving Network related issues (Hardware failure, Link Down / Flapping / latency, Configuration issues, etc) Network Device Asset Management (Asset Inventory, Link Inventory, IP Segment, Network vLANs, Support Contract, Vendor Escalation Matrix) Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless, load balancers, VPN, QoS) in coordination with OEM / Vendors Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and Preform Configuration backups of Critical network devices Execute Network DR testing and per defined DR Policy Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
