Role & responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions issued by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide advice on drug dosage, interactions, side effects, and proper storage.
• Counsel patients on the use of both prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medication history and drug allergies.
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss potential drug interactions or alternative medications.
• Administer vaccinations and other health screenings (if certified).
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Stay updated on new drug therapies, developments, and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active pharmacist license (Not Mandate)
• Proven experience as a pharmacist (retail, hospital, or clinical settings).
• Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software.
