Network Engineer (Certified CCNP/CCIE)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Implement & Operate LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Security infrastructures (including firewalls, proxy, IPS, SD-WAN).
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex and business-critical network issues across global enterprise infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance optimization of the network.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network design reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
• Drive automation and scripting initiatives (Python, Ansible, etc.) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement and manage SDN and security frameworks for streamlined deployments and robust controls.
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in planning and roadmap discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• CCNP/CCIE Certified

  – Mandatory (R&S or Enterprise Infrastructure preferred).

• 8 to 14

  years of experience in managing enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Proxies, IPS, SD-WAN.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies – switching, routing (OSPF, BGP), and security appliances.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud and data center environments with a focus on modernization and re-architecture.
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking, advanced routing protocols, and DC network design.
• Proficiency in network automation/scripting using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps, SDN, and cloud-native network/security services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including performance optimization and root cause analysis.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with global connectivity requirements.
• Exposure to Zero Trust Network Architecture and Security practices.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and structured change management.
