Description
Requirement- Enterprise Storage Administrator with experience on major storage technologies like NetApp & IBM Storage Administrator to manage and maintain our storage infrastructure. Experienced with NetApp and IBM storage systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability of the storage resources. Responsibilities- Storage Management: Install, configure, and maintain NetApp and IBM storage systems, including SAN and NAS environments. Performance Monitoring : Monitor storage performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize storage solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage replication and recovery processes to safeguard data integrity and availability. Capacity Planning: Perform capacity planning and forecasting to ensure storage infrastructure meets current and future needs. Security Management: Ensure storage systems are secure and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures. Collaboration : Work closely with IT teams, including network, server, and application administrators, to support DAILY BAU Support : Provide 24/7 support for storage-related issues and participate in on-call rotation as needed. Upgrades and Patching : Manage storage system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates. Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetApp FAS/AFF- A900/FAS8300/FAS8020/FAS8040 storage systems. Proficiency in configuration, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting Proficiency in IBM Flash System, Storwize, and DS Series storage systems. Proficiency in CISCO MDS SAN stand alone and director switches along with NDFC Tools Understanding in tools- Active IQ Unified Manager , NDFC Strong understanding of SAN and NAS architectures. Installation, Configuration & Upgradation of NetApp and IBM storage systems Expertise in allocating storage from NAS/SAN using NFS, CIFS, ISCSI and FCP. Experience in Firmware Upgrade and Zoning on Switches and Storage Technologies like iSCSI, FC, RAID and Storage Virtualization Expertise in path redundancy configuration and troubleshooting. Managing and configuring various SAN methodologies and installed RAID devices and identifying and analyzing technical issues and trouble shooting them. Experience with storage management tools and software. Knowledge of snapshots, replication and recovery solutions and best practices. Show more Show less
