NetApp Storage Administrator

The company is a leading IT services provider specializing in storage technologies and infrastructure solutions. The role requires a highly experienced individual with 2 - 10+ years of experience in storage technologies, specifically NetApp Cluster Mode and EMC Powermax. You must possess a strong SAN networking knowledge in Brocade and CISCO MDS SAN Switches. Your responsibilities will include handling day-to-day operations (L1, L2, L3) for storage devices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality production maintenance. You will be expected to provide on-call support, collaborate with other infra support teams, perform monitoring, vendor management, and health checks. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, ticket remediation, and taking ownership of incidents, changes, and problems will be part of your role. Additionally, you will lead critical outage calls, participate in customer meetings, generate storage reports, tune parameters, address performance issues, and manage capacity and performance scale out. To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge (L1 - L3 level) on Storage Technologies like NetApp Cluster Mode, experience in handling day-to-day operations for storage devices, troubleshooting skills, good communication skills in English, ability to collaborate with other teams, expertise in NetApp Cluster mode filers and SAN switches, experience in storage replications, coordination with stakeholders and vendors, leadership skills for critical outage calls, and capacity and performance management experience.
