Senior Windows Administrator.

Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Role Objective :
To be part of core infrastructure team managing all windows servers & operating systems.Certified Senior Executive who has experience in managing Windows distribution servers for fintech companies understanding the sensitivity of 99.999% uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Windows servers (2012/2016/2019/2022) in physical and virtualized environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security patches and updates.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Clustering.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Perform server hardening and security configurations.
- Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to ensure system integration and performance.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
- Document processes, procedures, and system changes for knowledge sharing.
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior & Skills :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience as a Windows System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) for hybrid infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork & Qualifications :
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Administration role for Windows Desktop & Server-side operating systems.
- BSC, B.E or equivalent degree in Information technology or Computer Science with minimum 50%.
