National Manager Operations (INK/Coating /Chemical)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations across all sites ensuring adherence to production schedules, output, and quality benchmarks.
• Drive standardization of operational processes and best practices across locations.
• Oversee ink formulation process efficiencies and plant-specific challenges
• To improve profitability by yield improvement, energy conservation, process time cycle reduction.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production as per quality standards.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
• To ensure the standard operating procedures are available at all processes and are followed by maintaining safe practices at plant.
• To improve profitability by yield improvement, energy conservation, process time cycle reduction.

• To ensure the Quality objectives of all departments are available & they are adhering and provide resources to fulfil if required.

• Plan, lead, and execute key capital expenditure (CapEx) and cost-saving projects.

• Production throughput vs plan
• Manufacturing cost per unit
• Yield, rework, and rejection rate
• Lean implementation milestones (e.g., % OEE, downtime reduction).
• Strong leadership, decision-making skills and analytical thinking • Certification in Six Sigma ( Black Belt)
