Job Summary

The Mutual Fund Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling mutual fund products to individual and institutional clients. The role involves understanding client financial needs, recommending suitable investment solutions, and building long-term client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell mutual fund products to new and existing clients
  • Understand clients’ financial goals and risk profiles to recommend appropriate schemes
  • Acquire new clients through referrals, cold calling, meetings, and networking
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and repeat investments
  • Achieve assigned sales targets (AUM, SIPs, lump sum investments, etc.)
  • Educate clients about market trends, fund performance, and investment strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, documentation, and servicing
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI/AMFI regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
  • Attend training sessions and stay updated on mutual fund products and market developments
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • AMFI Certification (mandatory or preferred, depending on role)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to build trust
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Ability to explain financial concepts in a simple manner
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined
Experience
  • 0–2 years for entry-level roles (Freshers may apply)
  • 2+ years for senior/relationship manager roles
  • Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or wealth management is a plus

  • Assets Under Management (AUM) growth
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • SIP and lump sum conversion rates
  • Client retention and satisfaction
Compensation
  • Fixed salary + performance-based incentives
  • Additional rewards/bonuses based on target achievement
