Roles & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and support post-closing specialists in stacking, auditing, trailing docs, and delivery.
• Manage daily workflow, assignments, and productivity targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide consistent coaching.

Operational Oversight

• Oversee post-closing audits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor, agency, and internal requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of loan packages to investors, custodians, or warehouse banks.
• Track outstanding conditions and trailing documents (final title policies, recorded instruments, PMI certs, etc.).
• Collaborate with closing, underwriting, secondary, and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies.

Investor Delivery & Purchase

• Monitor purchase timelines and proactively resolve suspense issues.
• Communicate with investors regarding missing items, corrections, or curing deficiencies.
• Ensure accurate data integrity between LOS, investor portals, and custodial documentation.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Maintain deep knowledge of agency guidelines (Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA) and investor requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Reporting & Metrics

• Track and report on delivery timelines, suspense rates, purchase times, and defect trends.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and speed up funding-to-purchase cycles.

Process Improvement

• Identify workflow gaps and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Champion system enhancements and document management best practices.
