Molding Shift Engineer Company: TriMas Company LLC Primary Location: Khasra No. 371-378 Village-Dasomajra, Baddi, Distt Solan (Himachal Pradesh), 173205, IND Employment Type: Salaried | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and improve injection moulding processes for new and existing products. Conduct process evaluations to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of the product. Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, including cycle time, part quality, and machine performance. ooversee the maintenance and calibration of injection molding machines and tooling to ensure they are operating at peak performance. Implement process control techniques and monitor tooling wear. Implement and monitor quality control systems and procedures for plastic injection molded parts. Analyze production samples, conduct material testing, and identify potential areas of improvement in the molding process. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to injection molding. Investigate and resolve issues related to part defects, cycle time, and machinery performance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address defects and inefficiencies. Maintain detailed records of mold trials, modifications, and improvements. Generate reports on mold performance, production efficiency, and quality metrics. Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in injection molding engineering or a similar field. Hands-on experience with injection molding machinery, tools, and automation systems. Proven ability to develop and optimize injection molding processes. Hand on experience of working with HUSKY hot runner systems. Hand on experience of setting up ROBO arms, Hopper auto loader, Vacuum loader etc. Qualifications Strong knowledge of injection molding technologies and materials. Familiarity with PLC programming, robotics, and automation in the injection molding process. Knowledge of quality control techniques and ISO standards for plastics manufacturing etc. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Able to read, speak English language Familiar with EXCEL, WORD & PPT working etc. Diploma from CIPET( PPT) with BSc /Diploma from CIPET in DPMT. Btech in mechanical
