Design and optimize workflows and production schedules. Troubleshoot production problems and develop solutions to technical challenges. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Molding store including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to meet production targets. Ensuring that the production line runs smoothly Can handle shift/manpower Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining product quality. Conduct performance analysis and suggest improvements to production systems. Oversee equipment maintenance to minimize production disruptions. Analyse existing production processes and workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements. Optimize the production schedule to balance capacity and demand, ensuring timely delivery of products. Analyse and adjust production timelines to accommodate unexpected delays or issues. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, quality issues, maintenance activities, and any corrective actions taken. Other work as assigned by immediate supervisor /or manager. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical) Exposed to Thin wall high precision medical and packaging tooling ideally. 6-9 years of hands-on experience in production Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities Familiarity with production management software and tools Knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle, for managing inventory, scheduling, and production. Solution-oriented, good planning /organizational skills, strong communication skills Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing processes. Team player who works well with customers and other team members Generate daily, weekly, or monthly production reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, yield, downtime, and efficiency. Use this data to highlight trends, successes, and areas for improvement. Ability to identify the root cause of production problems, using methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or Fishbone diagrams. Functional knowledge of GMP and GDP Understanding of industry-specific quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP) Ethical, upholds principles, engaged, focused, committed, driven to succeed, learns from team mistakes, strong sense of ownership and high standards, high-energy, outcome oriented, self-motivated learner, good team player Good command in English
