Main Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for generation and delivery of concept and manufacturing design definitions, based on technical specifications, requirements and other constraints. Strong experience of Plastic design, DFMEA, DOE, DFA tools. Strong hands on Experience in 3D modeling and 2D Engineering drawings. Managing the conceptual development for new product development using 3D CAD (Preferably Solid Works) Knowledge of Proto Typing & Testing for validations. Build required BOM on PLM (3D Experience). Basic knowledge of FEA and Mould3D tools (Preferable) Make Design Detailing; Analyze Designs, Identify Risks & Prepare Mitigation Plans. Ability to Analyze Simulations, Basic Engineering Assessments. Plan, control and deliver assigned projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan and budget (managing a number of projects at any one time) Keep Project Health dashboard and weekly presentation with leadership. Responsible of Tooling feasibility and basic knowledge of Injection Moulding process. Material selection and plastic product development required. Quality & Reliability Improvements by Design. Participate in developing and maintain relevant engineering processes and procedures Support the identification of business opportunities Apply/Demonstrate Engineering Capabilities in Design Detailing and problem solving on existing products and product improvement Liaising with suppliers as required Keep up to date in relevant technical areas; develop skills and capabilities and supply support and expertise to others as required (including supporting the development of the design engineer as required) Expertise in Mainly Plastics, Tooling, Packaging Materials

Qualifications
Hours spent on Concept drawing and detail design. First Time Right approach based on project delivery. On Time Delivery (OTS) Keep Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics healthy for each project. Number of Non-Conformance issues/ECNs at the assembly stage for each product/Project. Customer-first approach and new innovation
