- Take the lead on all program-related activities, focusing on key areas like timelines, capex plans, and 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) planning.
- Ensure all new product introductions (NPIs) are launched on time and with a "First Time Right" approach.
- Closely work with cross-functional teams (CFTs) to provide updates and represent the ME team's interests.
- Primary liaison between the ME team and other departments, coordinating to resolve issues related to sustenance, cycle time improvements, and proof of concept (PoC).
- Maintain a comprehensive log of all ongoing issues, tracking them from identification to final closure.
- Facilitate program reviews with suppliers for new projects, working alongside the relevant ME team members to ensure alignment and progress.
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter Visualization to create graphical Sequence of Events (SoE), which is crucial for visualizing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Manage virtual and physical builds to validate processes before they go live, catching potential problems early.
- Convert Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM), ensuring a seamless transition from design to production.
- Implementing Poka-Yoke to minimize operator errors and enhance quality.
- Strong working knowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM), which will be integrated into the product development lifecycle from the start.
- Actively participate in the creation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans to build robust processes.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement, determine problem resolutions, and implement them to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify the necessary equipment, tooling, and material handling facilities for manual processes, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Manage the Change Request (CR) process, evaluating the impact of changes and implementing them effectively to maintain compliance and quality.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with relevant safety standards and legal regulations.
- Transfer the knowledge to relevant teams to give them the awareness about discussions and decisions.

What You bring to Ather:
Bachelor degree in engineering in any discipline, 8 to 12 years of working experience in Vehicle Assembly process, experience in project management & experience in Electric Vehicles will be an advantage.
