Job Description

Position Details Designation: Manager – Modern Trade

Location: Hyderabad Region: Telengana.

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Qualification: Graduation / MBA (Marketing/ Sales).

Certifications in Sales/ Critical Thinking/ Problem Solving would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development of Account Strategic Direction • Provide strategic proposals in line with MT expansion • Identify new business opportunities for growth • Develop tactical plans aligned with customer, client and group objectives • Consult with stakeholders to manage operational complexities • Negotiate account plans and promotional grids for implementation • Conduct gap analyses to determine strengths and challenges • Keep stakeholders updated on progress of initiatives

2. Effective Account Management • Bring fresh insights to client’s business for competitive advantage • Advise and influence clients/customers with strategic recommendations • Analyze trends and communicate insights/opportunities • Optimize trading terms for maximum return • Generate new sales and build long-lasting relationships

3. Effective Management of Sales • Set sales targets, develop plans and monitor achievements • Review accounts with customers using data insights • Maintain and achieve new listings • Provide leadership and ensure best practice execution

4. Profitability, Sustainability & Growth • Set and manage client budgets • Develop profit maximization strategies • Prepare regular progress and forecast reports using key account metrics 5. Teamwork & Self-Management • Ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained • Plan and prioritise to manage competing demands • Anticipate and manage change effectively • Stay updated on industry developments and manage career growth 6. Promotional Activities • Plan and execute effective promotional campaigns • Measure impact of promotions on sales and brand visibility

• Strong ownership of Strategic & Annual Business Plans

• Excellent in planning new product launches

• Multichannel experience preferred

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills/

• Excellent communication & customer relationship management skills/

• Ability to manage, train and retain high-performing sales teams.

• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
