Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Data Management:

    • Collect, consolidate, and validate daily, weekly, and monthly sales data from various channels (B2B, B2C, Franchise, etc.).
    • Maintain master data related to clients, accounts, and sales representatives.
  • Reporting & Dashboards:

    • Develop and maintain performance dashboards for management review.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc MIS reports (e.g., revenue trends, collection efficiency, growth tracking, customer retention, etc.).
    • Create region-wise, product-wise, and channel-wise sales analysis reports.
  • Business Analytics & Insights:

    • Identify sales trends, deviations, and areas of concern/opportunity through data analysis.
    • Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes.
    • Track performance against KPIs, targets, and incentive plans.
  • CRM & ERP Integration:

    • Ensure smooth data flow from CRM/ERP systems to reporting tools.
    • Coordinate with IT/CRM teams to address data discrepancies or process enhancements.
  • Sales Support:

    • Provide data support to field sales and regional managers.
    • Develop performance review decks and sales review presentations for zonal and national meetings.
    • Maintain incentive calculation reports and track eligibility criteria.
  • Compliance & Audit Support:

    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all sales data in compliance with internal controls.
    • Support internal and external audits with timely data retrieval and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in MIS/Sales analytics, preferably in diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.,), PowerPoint, etc.,
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP platforms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience in the diagnostics/laboratory services industry.
  • Knowledge of lab testing services, pricing models, and customer segmentation.
  • Exposure to incentive and performance-based sales models.
