Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-grade data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, architecting scalable solutions, and driving adoption of Fabric components such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake, and Power BI across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake, Power BI, and Real-Time Analytics.
• Architect and manage unified data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Define and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and lifecycle management within the Fabric ecosystem.
• Drive performance optimization, cost management, and operational excellence across Fabric workloads.
• Mentor and guide data engineers and analysts on Fabric capabilities and development standards.
• Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates and roadmap, and evaluate new features for enterprise adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including hands-on experience with Data Factory, Lakehouse, Power BI, and OneLake.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or equivalent.
• Experience integrating Fabric with external systems (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, SAP).
• Knowledge of data mesh, metadata management, and data observability tools.
• Exposure to real-time analytics, streaming data, and AI/ML integration.
