This is a full-time, remote position for a MERN Stack Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and scalable code, debugging applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, integrating APIs, and ensuring application performance optimization. The developer will also participate in code reviews and contribute to overall team development efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Perform unit testing for developed modules and assist in integration testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Participate in project planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Understand client requirements and deliver solutions that meet expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development.
• Support deployment and ensure CI/CD practices are followed.
• Contribute to documentation, both technical and functional.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Proficiency in working with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience in developing responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
