Mern Stack Developer

Job Summary We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer who can build high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with a deep understanding of modern web development practices. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences and robust application features. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node). Write clean, modular, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Build RESTful APIs and work with third-party integrations. Implement UI components with React.js and ensure smooth integration with backend services. Work with databases to design, optimize, and manage data models. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications for performance and security improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Manage version control using Git and participate in regular code reviews. Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to MERN stack development. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Proven work experience as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in React.js, React Hooks, Context API, Redux (optional but preferred). Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development. In-depth understanding of MongoDB (queries, aggregation, schema design). Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and modern frontend tools. Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Skills Experience with TypeScript. Knowledge of Next.js or SSR concepts. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Digital Ocean). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Experience with Docker or microservices architecture. Knowledge of UI libraries like Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
