PHP Laravel Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Laravel and related technologies. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code following industry best practices. Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and ensure seamless user experiences. Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to design, optimize, and maintain schemas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and deliver features. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Manage version control using Git and participate in code reviews. Ensure security and data protection standards are applied to all applications. Stay updated with the latest Laravel, PHP, and web development trends. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Laravel. Proficiency in PHP 7/8, Laravel 8/9/10+, Composer, and MVC architecture. Strong understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON. Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows. Understanding of server management and deployment (Linux, Nginx/Apache) is a plus. Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Vue.js, React.js, or other front-end frameworks is plus. Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, GCP) is plus. Understanding of microservices architecture. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
