Job Description

We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer who can design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in front-end + back-end development, API creation, database design, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express, React, Node.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
Develop reusable and modular UI components using React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux optional).
Optimise applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices.
Implement authentication and authorisation using JWT / OAuth.
Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) - schema design, indexing, aggregation.
Integrate 3rd-party APIs and services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams.

Requirements

Strong in React.js, Hooks, functional components.
State management: Context API / Redux.
HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6+), Responsive UI.
Experience with React Router, Axios/Fetch.
Component lifecycle and performance optimisation.
Node.js fundamentals (async programming, event loop).
Express.js for building scalable APIs.
Middleware, routing, validation (Joi/Yup).
Error handling, logging, and socket programming (optional).
CRUD operations, schema design.
Aggregation pipeline.
Indexing, performance tuning.
Working with Mongoose ORM.

Other Skills

Git/GitHub.
Postman/Swagger.
Knowledge of deployment on AWS / Azure / DigitalOcean / Render.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (good to have).
